Jonathan Hutton

Jonathan M. Hutton (also: Jon ) is a British zoologist, biogeographer and Director of the UNEP Conservation Monitoring Center in Cambridge and Regional Director of the UNEP Africa Program .

Jonathan Hutton received his BA from Jesus College , Cambridge and a PhD in crocodile ecology from the University of Zimbabwe in 1984. Hutton worked for 20 years in conservation projects in various African countries. He then worked for various organizations (NGOs and government organizations) for 20 years. In 2007 he became Honorary Professor of Sustainable Resource Management at the University of Kent .
