Jonathan Ned Katz

Jonathan Ned Katz (* 1938 ) is an American historian and author.

education

Katz attended Music and Art High School from 1952 to 1956. He was then in 1956 and 1957 at Antioch College and from 1957 to 1959 at College City of New York . Katz attended the New School in 1961 and 1962, and Hunter College in 1972 .

job

Katz worked as a historian focusing on the processing of LGBT history in the United States. He turned his attention to the changes in the way American society treats LGBT. In his work his attitude emerges that the description and definition of human sexuality is historically and culturally dependent.

Private life

Katz was one of the founding members of the Gay Academic Union in 1973 . In 1980, Katz was a founding member of the National Writers Union .
