Magnus Hirschfeld Medal
The Magnus Hirschfeld Medal has been awarded since 1990 by the German Society for Social Science Sex Research (DGSS) for special services to sex science and sex reform . It is named after the pioneer of German sex research Magnus Hirschfeld (without the DGSS sharing the “biological tendency” of his sex theory ).
