Niesche's work explores the expanded space of painting , abstraction and sculpture . He works with materials such as glitter, mirrors, translucent fabrics and welded steel fittings. His works are minimalist and materially fetishistic, and their reflective surfaces give them a performative character. The Zero group and their work with light, space and movement represent an important influence for her work . For his work exhibition “Spitting Images” in the Vienna gallery Zeller van Almsick in 2017, Niesche also referred to a golden Johann Strauss monument in Vienna City Park.
