JooJoo is a Linux- based tablet PC designed for surfing the Internet. It was manufactured by Singapore Development Studio Fusion Garage and was also shipped to Germany. However, the tablet, which was traded as an iPad competitor, was disappointing, heise criticized the unfinished system, the user-unfriendly touchscreen and the slow processor. In August 2011 the manufacturer announced an indirect successor, the Grid10 . It is based on the open source Android operating system and was delivered from mid-September 2011.

Due to the low demand for the Grid 10 and massive price reductions to increase it, the company needed more capital from investors at the end of 2011, according to founder and CEO Chandra Rathakrishnan. On January 5, 2012, Fusion Garage finally filed for bankruptcy.
