Jordi Sierra i Fabra (born June 26, 1947 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish writer for young people and crime novels. He writes in Spanish and Catalan .

From 1972 to 2006 he wrote over 400 books. It is aimed primarily at young readers.

Sierra i Fabra published his first novel at the age of 12. In 2004 he founded the Fundación Jordi Sierra i Fabra in Barcelona and the Fundación Taller de Letras Jordi Sierra i Fabra in Medellin ( Colombia ) to promote young talent . He is also the founder of several music magazines such as Disco Exprés , Extra , or Súper Pop (from 1977) and was considered an expert on Spanish pop and rock music. In addition to German, many of his books have been translated into English, French, Russian, Korean, Chinese and other languages. Individual works were filmed or edited for the stage.
