Jorge Luis Dely Valdés (born March 12, 1967 in Colón ) is a former Panamanian football player .

Career

society

Valdés started his career at Central Norte . In 1993 Valdés signed a contract with the Japanese club Toshiba (today: Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo). In the 1993 season he was the top scorer of the Japan Football League with 20 goals . Also in the following year he was top scorer with 33 goals. He then played at Cerezo Osaka and Tosu Futures . In 1997 he returned to Consadole. In the 1997 season he was the top scorer with 40 goals. He then played with Colorado Rapids , Omiya Ardija , Kawasaki Frontale and CD Árabe Unido . In 2005 he ended his playing career.

National team

In 1991 Valdés made his debut for the Panamanian national football team . He was appointed to the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup squad. He has played a total of 48 international matches for Panama.
