Jorge Franco Ramos
Jorge Franco Ramos (* 1962 in Medellín , Colombia ) is a Colombian writer .
Life
Jorge Franco studied literature at the Pontifical University of Xaveriana and film studies at the London Film School . He then took part in the Literary Workshop of the Public Library in Medellín. In 1996 he made his debut as a writer with the love story Maldito amor . In 2014 Franco was awarded the Premio Alfaguara de Novela for El mundo de afuera .
His book Rosario Tijeras was filmed in 2004 for the cinema and in 2010 for Colombian television in the form of a 60-part series.
