Jorge Juan Crespo de la Serna

Jorge Juan Crespo de la Serna (* 1887 ; † 1978 ) was a Mexican artist, art critic and historian .

Crespo de la Serna taught the end of the 1920s until the early 1930s at the Chouinard Art Institute , which was established in 1921. He also campaigned for José Clemente Orozco to be commissioned for the fresco at Pomona College , on which he himself worked.

Crespo de la Serna was a member of the Academia de Artes in the field of art history and criticism.
