Jorge Mata
Jorge Mata (* 26. April 1970 in Castile and Leon , Spain ) is a former Spanish boxer in the straw weight .
Professional career
In 1998 he successfully started his professional career. At the end of June 2002 he boxed Reynaldo Frutos for the WBO interim title and won by classic knockout in round 9. In the same year Mata was named WBO world champion without a fight and defended the title against Jairo Arango by a unanimous decision of the judge.
At the end of March of the following year, Mata lost the belt through knockout to Eduardo Ray Marquez .
In 2005 he ended his career.
