Jorge Maya , full name Jorge Maya Dodera , (born May 5, 1944 ) is a retired Uruguayan basketball player .
Career
society
Depending on the sources, the 1.77 meters or 1.78 meters tall Maya played for Welcome at the club level in the 1960s . In the years he won the championship in 1966 and 1967, he was shown as a player on two team photos for that season.
National team
Maya was also nominated for the national selection teams of Uruguay. In 1964 he took part in the 1964 Olympic Games as the team's youngest player . With the team trained by trainer Raúl Ballefín , the team finished eighth in Tokyo . Maya was used in six games and scored an average of 4.5 points per game.
