Jorge Molist

Jorge Molist (* 1951 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish engineer and writer.

Life

Molist spent his childhood and youth in Barcelona, ​​mostly in the districts of El Raval and Gracia . Where he also completed his schooling and studied at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia Engineering .

After successfully completing his studies, he completed his military service and then worked as an engineer for various large Spanish and US companies.

Around 1995, Molist revived the literary attempts at writing from his studies. After several attempts he was able to successfully debut in 2000 with the novel El Anillo . His historical novel Canción de sangre y oro was awarded the Fernando Lara Prize in 2018 .

Currently (2013) Molist lives again with his family in his hometown Barcelona.
