Jorge Skinner-Klée Arenales

Jorge Skinner-Klée Arenales (* 1957 in Guatemala City ) is a Guatemalan diplomat .

Jorge Skinner-Klée Arenales studied law and social sciences at the private Rafael Landívar University . He graduated from Columbia University in 1985 . In 1988 he studied at Johns Hopkins University and graduated from the School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS). From 1988 to 1992 he taught international law and international relations at Rafael Landívar University . In 2003 he taught at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

From 1985 to 1986 he was Counselor and Deputy Delegate of the Government of Guatemala to the OEA. From 1987 to 1988 he was accredited at the Guatemalan Embassy in Washington. From 1990 to 1993 he was a consultant for the Asociación del Café de Guatemala, a coffee producer and dealer. From 1985 to 1990 he was a UN delegate to the General Assemblies of the United Nations and the OEA. In 1993 he was ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1998 he was ambassador to Canada. In 2002 he was ambassador to Belize. In 2003 he was ambassador to Honduras. In 2004 he was State Secretary in the Foreign Ministry.

Jorge Skinner-Klée Arenales is a partner in a law firm .
