José Luis Aussín Suárez (born January 20, 1942 in Orizaba , Veracruz ), also known by the nickname El Loco ( Eng. The Crazy) or El Loquito , is a former Mexican football player on the position of the striker .

Life

"El Loquito" Aussín began his professional career in the second Mexican football league with his home club Orizaba FC and was soon committed by the Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz , who returned to the Primera División in 1964 . There is evidence that Aussín was under contract between 1964 and 1970.

In 1964 he was part of the Mexican Olympic team and in 1965 he played three international appearances for the Mexican national team : initially two World Cup qualifying games over the full distance of 90 minutes against Honduras (3-0) and the USA (2-2) in early March and on April 6, 1965 half time against Costa Rica (1: 1) in the CONCACAF Nations Cup 1965 . On his debut against Honduras on March 4, 1965, he scored his only international goal to make it 2-0 in the 14th minute.

Remarks

  1. The same meaning and possibly an indication that his father Luis Aussín, who was under contract with his hometown rivals Moctezuma and ADO in the 1940s , was also known as El Loco ?
