José Luis Calderón Cabrera

José Luis Calderón Cabrera (* before 1930 in Mexico City ; † June 7, 2004 ibid) was a Mexican architect and professor at the architecture school of the Universidad Anáhuac on the México Norte campus and at the Escuela Nacional de Arquitectura of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México .

As an architect, he mainly worked with his brother Bernardo . The focus of his work was the restoration of churches and monuments, as well as reconstructions, which he carried out himself until the end of the 1980s, and which he later managed. Shortly before his death, he was awarded the Medal for Academic Merit ( Medalla al Mérito Académico ) by the Universidad Anáhuac .
