José Luis Cardoso
José Luis Cardoso (born February 2, 1975 in Seville ) is a Spanish motorcycle racer .
Career
He contested the 2006 season in the D'Antin MotoGP team on a Ducati in the MotoGP class.
Cardoso has been racing in the motorcycle world championship since 1993 . In 1998 he was the Spanish 250cc champion on a Yamaha . From 1999 to 2001 he drove in the class up to 500 cm³ , in 2002 and 2006 in its successor class, MotoGP . Cardoso has not yet won a race and has not finished on the podium. His best place in a race came at the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez in 1998 when he finished fifth in the 250cc class. His best World Championship classification was - in the same year - eleventh place.
