José Luis Montes de Oca Olais (born December 21, 1967 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

Life

Montes de Oca began his active career at Club Deportivo Guadalajara , for which he played in 80 league games from 1991 to 1994 and scored 3 goals. He then worked for one season each with Toros Neza and Deportivo Toluca , before joining Club Necaxa in 1996 , his longest station with six years of membership. With the Necaxistas he won the Mexican football championship in the 1998 winter season . In the 2002/03 season he let his active career at Club San Luis end.
