José Manuel Fernandes (born July 26, 1967 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese politician of the Partido Social Democrata .
Life
Fernandes studied systems engineering and computer science at the University of Minho . Fernades was Mayor of Vila Verde from 1997 to 2009 . Fernandes has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
