Adam Bagiński (born March 17, 1980 in Danzig ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has been under contract with GKS Tychy in the Ekstraliga since 2003 .

Career

Club

Adam Bagiński began his career in his hometown near Stoczniowiec Gdańsk . For the shipyard workers' club, he was on the ice more than 130 times in the Ekstraliga . In 2003 he moved from the Baltic Sea coast to the Upper Silesian industrial area at GKS Tychy . With the team from the mining town, he was able to win the first championship title in the club's history in 2005 . In addition to six runner-up titles in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2014, he also won the Polish ice hockey cup in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2017 . In 2015 and 2018 he was able to win the double of championship title and cup victory with the Silesians.

International

For Poland, Bagiński took part in the junior division of the 1998 European U-18 Championship and the U20 U20 B-World Championship in 2000 .

In the senior sector, the center was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2006 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 and 2016 . He also played for Poland in the Olympic qualification for the Games in Turin 2006 , the Games in Vancouver 2010 , the Games in Sochi in 2014 and the Games in Pyeongchang in 2018 .
