The Polish Ice Hockey Cup of the 2008/09 season (Polish: Puchar Polski Hokeja na Lodzie ) was the host of the Polish Ice Hockey Cup . The event was organized by the Polish Ice Hockey Federation (PZHL).
Participant and mode
Only six teams took part in the 2008 trophy, including only four teams from the Ekstraliga and one from the second-class I-league .
The semi-finals and the final were played over two days in a final round in the ice stadium in Gdansk. A game for third place did not take place. The cup defender GKS Tychy and the host of the tournament Stoczniowiec Gdańsk were set. In addition, TKH Toruń - due to the non-appearance of opponent and last year's finalist Naprzód Janów - and KS Cracovia, who prevailed in the second round against GKS Katowice, who had defeated Zagłębie Sosnowiec in the previous round, qualified.
