José María Achá
José María Achá Valiente (born July 8, 1810 in Cochabamba ; † January 29, 1868 ibid) was a general and from 1861 to 1864 President of Bolivia .
Acha fought against the long-time dictator Manuel Isidoro Belzu (1848–55). He later became Minister of War in the cabinet of dictator José María Linares (1857–61). In 1861 he initiated the coup against José María Linares.
