José Peguero
José Peguero (born September 14, 1988 ) is a Dominican weightlifter .
He reached fourth place in the class up to 56 kg at the Pan American Championships in 2009. In 2010 he switched to the class up to 62 kg and came fourth again at the Pan American Championships. At the Central American and Caribbean Games in the same year he won the bronze medal. At the Pan American Championships 2011 Peguero again reached fourth place. In 2012, however, he was tested positive for metandienone and dehydrochloromethyltestosterone during a training control and was banned by the world association IMF for two years. After his suspension, he was eighth in the 2014 Pan American Championships.
