Josef Čapek (composer)
Josef Čapek ( Joseph Czapek ; born March 19, 1825 in Prague , † July 14, 1915 in Gothenburg ) was a Bohemian composer.
Čapek studied at the Prague Conservatory and then worked for fifty years as a conductor and organist in Gothenburg. He composed symphonies , masses and cantatas , of which The Last Judgment was particularly valued.
