Josef Brandmayr

Josef Brandmayr (born December 27, 1950 ) is an Upper Austrian politician, former mayor of the Manning community and was a member of the ÖVP state parliament between 1991 and 2009 .

Life

After compulsory school, Brandmayr took an agricultural training course, as well as a forestry course at the Gmunden forestry school and an educational course at the Wels Farmers Academy.

Brandmayr had been a councilor in Manning since 1973. From 1979 to 2015 he was mayor of the municipality of Manning and in 1989 he also became a member of the district chamber of farmers committee and district chairman of the farmers' union of Schwanenstadt . In 1991 he was sworn in as a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag and held this position until October 22, 2009.

The hunter, who has been active for 40 years, was elected regional hunter master in 2007 and is the successor to Hans Reisebauer and boss of over 17,000 Upper Austrian hunters. At the end of his term of office as a member of the state parliament (2009), the politician wants to concentrate fully on the tasks of the Upper Austrian state hunter master.

Private

Brandmayr is married and has five children.
