State hunter master
The Regional Hunting is in Austria , the chairman of a Landesjagdverband and thus the entire hunting community of a state in Austria. He is usually elected every five years by the representatives of the hunting community.
tasks
The tasks of the state hunter master, regulated by the individual statutes of the respective federal states, are roughly divided into the following areas:
- He represents the entire hunting community of a country to the outside world.
- He is responsible for prescribing objectives and overseeing compliance with them.
- He chairs the board of directors as well as general meetings and state hunting committees.
- He is entitled, with the appropriate consent, to remove district hunter masters from their office.
- If he is temporarily unable to attend, he has to appoint one of the two deputies to continue his duties.
- Depending on requirements, usually quarterly, it convenes meetings of the board of directors.
In the event of resignation , dismissal or any other premature termination of its function, the board of directors must temporarily elect one of its two deputies until a subsequent replacement is elected. If the board of directors has a tie for both candidates, it is usually the lot that decides.
Having a hunting card in Austria means that every owner is automatically a member of a state hunting association, which in turn is represented by the state hunter master. The respective nine state hunter masters thus represent one hundred percent all hunters of the respective federal state.
The chairman of the state hunter championship is called the executive state hunter master and changes annually between the respective federal states. The main office has established itself as the largest state hunting association in Lower Austria.
