Josef Emprechtinger

Josef Emprechtinger (born February 13, 1889 in Eberschwang ; † December 14, 1960 in Ried im Innkreis ) was an Austrian state politician ( CS ).

Emprechtinger grew up in Neuhofen im Innkreis and served in the military between 1910 and 1918. He fought in World War I , where he was badly wounded and unable to work. As an invalid he was appointed by the Christian Social Party to the provisional state assembly in 1918/1919, where he was living in Eschlried ( Tumeltsham municipality ) at that time . He then worked as an insurance employee and tobacconist. Emprechtinger married in 1925 and moved to Ried im Innkreis, where he died in 1960.
