Josef Fuchs hole (* 19th March 1896 in Augsburg ; † 1973 ) was a German oberscharführer and as officer in charge in the external storage Harzungen of Mittelbau used.

Life

After finishing his school career, Fuchsloch learned the mason trade. He participated in the First World War as a soldier. In 1932 he started his own business as a master mason. With the beginning of the Second World War he was drafted into the air force and, due to age, served in construction and replacement battalions with the rank of sergeant major.

Together with other members of the Air Force, he was transferred to the Buchenwald concentration camp in May 1944 to reinforce the camp personnel and worked for about two months in the Wieda and Nüxei camps of SS Construction Brigade III. In July 1944 he was transferred to the Harzungen satellite camp , where he initially worked as a site manager. In December 1944, Fuchsloch became head of the protective custody camp in the Harzungen satellite camp after his predecessor had been absent from this post due to illness. In September 1944, Fuchsloch, like the other members of the Luftwaffe in the camp, was accepted into the Waffen SS .

After the war, foxhole in was Dora Trial , which during the Dachau trials took place on 7 August 1947 to 30 December 1947 charged with 18 other accused and due exculpatory statements by former functionary prisoners acquitted.
