Josef Graw (politician)

Josef Graw , also Joseph (born March 29, 1854 in Siegfriedswalde , † June 16, 1929 in Ganglau ) was a German politician ( center ).

Life

Graw attended elementary school from 1861 to 1869 and then worked in agriculture. He lived in Wormditt and had worked in the agricultural cooperative sector since 1889, most recently as an association director. As a state economics councilor, he was a member of the committee of the Prussian Central Cooperative Fund and the supervisory board of the East Prussian Landgesellschaft . From 1900 he worked as a farmer and leased the episcopal property Schmolainen.

Graw, who had joined the Center Party, was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1894 to 1918 . In 1921 he was elected to the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until his death in 1929.
