Josef Hintermayer

Josef Hintermayer (born April 10, 1931 in Hollabrunn ; † February 22, 1992 in Horn ) was an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and farmer. Hintermayer was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1983 to 1989 .

Hintermayer attended agricultural college after compulsory school and also attended courses and seminars. From 1948 he worked in his parents' farm and took over the business in 1960, which he subsequently expanded and specialized in wine and grain growing. Hintermayer was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

In the political field, Hintermayer became involved in 1974 as a member of the Federal Agricultural Committee of the FPÖ and was deputy to the Federal Agricultural Officer. In 1974 he was elected as deputy chairman of the FPÖ Lower Austria, in 1979 he was elected chairman of the Association of Liberal Municipal Councils in Lower Austria. Hintermayer represented the FPÖ between June 1, 1983 and October 11, 1989 in the National Council. He was then from October 11, 1989 until his death on February 22, 1992 a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .
