Josef Huber (soccer player, 1956)
Josef "Pepi" Huber (born December 29, 1956 in Mönchhof ) is a former Austrian football player . Pepi Huber came from the offspring of FC Mönchhof and later moved to SC Neusiedl / See. With SC Neusiedl am See he made it to the First Division (at that time the highest league in Austria). Of his 50 games for the NSC in the top Austrian division, the 2-1 win against SK Rapid Wien (May 7, 1983) was one of the highlights. After the descent of SC Neusiedl am See, he returned to FC Mönchhof in the summer of 1984. First as a player-coach (1984-1991) and then as a player, before ending his career in the combat team after the 1997/98 season. Pepi Huber remained connected to FC Mönchhof. From 1999 to 2005 he worked as a trainer for the next generation. Since summer 2006 he has been in charge of the reserve team at FC Mönchhof, where he is also an active player.
