Josef Kerpes

Josef Kerpes (* 1910 ; † 1985 ) was a German local politician ( CSU ). From 1957 to 1972 he was district administrator of the Aschaffenburg district and from 1966 to 1970 a member of the district assembly in Lower Franconia.

Career

After the suspension of the Aschaffenburg District Administrator Willy Grömling (CSU) on March 6, 1953 , Kerpes initially took over as deputy district administrator. After Grömling's dismissal, he was directly elected in 1957 as his successor in the office of District Administrator of the Aschaffenburg district and confirmed in 1963 and 1969. In the local elections in 1972 after the district reform came into force , he no longer ran.
