Josef Schilowetz

Josef Schilowetz (born February 1, 1900 in Pernise , Hungary , † December 2, 1950 in Jennersdorf ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and road warden. Schilowetz was married and from 1946 to 1949 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Josef Schilowetz was born the son of small farmer N. Zsilovec from Pernise. He worked as a locksmith in Szentgotthárd and from 1922 as a metal worker in Kapfenberg . From 1930 he worked as a street attendant in Jennersdorf, serving in the Wehrmacht from 1939 to 1945 during the Second World War . After the end of the war, Schilowetz was again used in the road administration from 1945.

Schilowetz joined the Social Democratic Party in the interwar period and moved up to the state parliament on September 25, 1946, to which he was a member until November 4, 1949.
