Josef Schlagnitweit

Josef Schlagnitweit (born March 10, 1881 in Emmersdorf, municipality of Hofkirchen im Mühlkreis ; † January 23, 1922 in Hofkirchen im Mühlkreis) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( CS ). Schlagnitweit was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag between 1919 and 1922 .

Josef Schlagnitweit was born as the son of the farmer Georg Schlagnitweit, and in 1905 he took over his parents' farm, the Leopoldgut in Emmersdorf No. 9. Schlagnitweit was also involved as chairman of the agricultural district cooperative, was chairman of the threshing company and both experts. Politically, he was active as Vice Mayor, from June 23, 1919 he represented the Christian Social Party in the state parliament. Schlagnitweit died in 1922 as a result of a flu.
