Josef Schwediauer (born February 9, 1868 in Steinhaus ; † June 21, 1930 ibid) was an Austrian mill owner and politician ( CS ). Schwediauer was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag between 1924 and 1925 .

Schwediauer was born as the son of the mill owner Max Schwediauer and his wife Theresia, née Obermair. He worked professionally as a mill owner and ran a bakery and a farm in his square yard in Steinhaus in addition to his mill. He was also committed to his profession in numerous organizations. Among other things, he was chairman of the district cooperative of farmers and board member of the Linz fruit exchange. He was also a member of the appointment committee of the Financial Directorate for Upper Austria and a member of the AUVA for Upper Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Between 1902 and 1930 he held the office of mayor in Steinhaus, and on February 21, 1924, he replaced Franz Ertlin the state parliament, to which he belonged until May 18, 1925. Schwediauer married Maria Weihs from Thalheim near Wels in 1897 and had five children with her.
