Josef Wallner (politician, 1898)

Josef Wallner (born October 27, 1898 in Wolfsbach , † February 15, 1983 in Amstetten ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Josef Wallner learned the trade of a sawmill . In 1921 he founded the J. Wallner company (wood wholesaler) in Amstetten.

He began his political career in the ÖVP St. Pölten and in the economic association . From 1949 to 1962 he was a member of the National Council ( VI , VII , VIII and IX legislative periods ).
