Josef von Baechlé (born May 21, 1868 in Vienna ; † May 11, 1933 there ) was an Austrian property owner , lawyer and politician ( CS ).

Josef von Baechlé attended elementary school and high school. From 1896 he studied at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1900. jur. From 1906 to 1918 he was a member of the City Council of Vienna. He was a member of the Lower Austrian School Council, founder of the Austrian School Museum, Vice President of the Catholic School Association and chairman of the Lower Austrian Fire Brigade Support Association. In 1897 he was ennobled .

From 1902 to 1915 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria , from 1907 to 1918 a member of the Reichsrat . 1918/19 he was a member of the Provisional National Assembly.

Since 1911 he was an honorary member of the Catholic student union KÖHV Rugia Vienna.
