Josefine Pagay ( 1849 in Vienna - November 18, 1892 in Berlin ) was an Austrian theater actress and operetta singer ( soprano ).

Life

She dared her first stage attempt as a 14-year-old girl at the Quaitheater in Vienna, as “Cupid” in “ Orpheus in the Underworld ” and it didn't take long for the shy beginner to become one of the smartest and cheeky soubrettes .
