Josefshaus (Bergheim)
The Josefshaus on Carl-Sonnenschein-Strasse in the Bergheim district of Kenten in the district town of Bergheim is a listed, two-storey brick residential building. It dates from around 1870.
architecture
The facade is structured by four window axes. A cornice made of raised bricks separates the floors. There is a small niche on the side of the upper floor. Inside is a plaster figure of St. Joseph on a console , recognizable by the angle iron in the right hand. A wooden roof rises above it. The arched entrance is in place of the second axis.
monument
The Josefshaus is registered with monument number 144 in the list of architectural monuments in Kenten . The text is as follows:
"Two-storey brick residential building. On the upper storey, a niche with a plaster figure of St. Joseph on the side."
