Joseph Alexandre Laboulbène

Joseph Alexandre Laboulbène (born August 25, 1825 in Agen , † December 7, 1898 in Paris ) was a French doctor and entomologist .

Life

Laboulbène studied medicine at the Université de Paris and received his doctorate there in 1854. Until 1879 he taught himself at the medical faculty.

Laboulbène was a member of the Entomological Society of France , of which he was president in 1860, 1872 and 1889.
