Joseph Baumann

Josef Baumann (born February 13, 1910 - † February 6, 1966 ) was a German doctor.

Life

Josef Baumann was a doctor and obstetrician in Berlin.

From 1953 to 1956 he was chairman of the Catholic Committee of the Diocese of Berlin and a member of the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of German Catholics (ZdK) . Together with Anton Roesen , Maria Haase and Paul Strenkert he formed the presidium of the 78th German Catholic Convention in Berlin (August 13th to 17th, 1958)

In 1959 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Nicola Cardinal Canali and invested on September 26, 1959 by Lorenz Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy .
