Josette Daydé

Josette Daydé (born March 28, 1923 in Perpignan , † April 3, 1995 in Brussels ) was a French singer (chansons, operettas, swing) and actress.

As a child she played theater, sang in operettas such as Toi c'est moi (January 1942 at the Apollo with Georges Guétary ) and Au soleil de Marseille . In October 1940, she took Cou-Cou with the Quintette du Hot Club de France of Django Reinhardt on. In 1942 she sang with the orchestras of Alix Combelle and Raymond Legrand with the recordings Grand-père n'aime pas le swing and Oui! .

In 1945 she recorded Rhythme américaine (by Louis Gasté ).
