Josh Almanson
Josh Almanson (born January 31, 1982 in Bowling Green , Ohio ) is an American basketball player .
The 2.05 m tall forward played four years for the college team Bowling Green Falcons in the USA and then moved to Portugal to Benfica Lisbon , where he hardly got any time. He then joined the Luxembourg first division club AB Contern . There he was noticed with an average of 27 points per game by the scouts of the German Bundesliga club TBB Trier , who signed him from the 2006/07 season. In the 2008/09 season Josh Almanson started for the Swiss club BC Lugano Tigers in the Swiss basketball league, after which he played for BBC Nyon and Lions de Genève . In 2011/12 he was active in the French NM 1 league for Vendée Challans Basket .
