Johann Jakob Bager

Johann Jakob Bager , also Jost Bager (* around 1670 in Wiesbaden ; † August 1, 1739 there ) was a German builder.

Life

Bager was the son of foreman Georg Leonhard Bager . He completed his apprenticeship with Max von Welsch and was then appointed Princely Nassau court builder and foreman. From 1700 to 1702 he was in charge of the construction of Biebrich Castle , and in 1712 the new church in the Mosbach district in Biebrich . Between 1725 and 1727 he built the new Protestant church in Saarbrücken's St. Johann district. Around 1730 he carried out the construction of the Evangelical Church of Wahlschied . In 1736 he was the construction manager for the church in Wörsdorf .

Bager was married to Maria Margaretha Heiden since 1698. He had three children with her, including his son Johann Daniel Bager .
