Jost Leers

Jost Leers (* in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German actor.

Leers received his training as an actor at the University of Music and Theater in Hanover and started his first engagement at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. Further stations: Celle, Frankfurt, Würzburg and from 1973 the Braunschweig State Theater. He was a permanent member of the ensemble there until 2003 and then made guest appearances in Magdeburg and Braunschweig. In addition to his stage work, Jost Leers has organized many readings (Lessing, Busch, Heine, Kästner, Tucholsky etc.) and is always putting together new programs.
