Canyon near Jostedalsbreen
The Jostetal ( Jostedalen ) is a valley in Vestland in Norway .
The Jostedal starts at Gaupne , Luster and reaches up to the glacier Nigardsbreen the glacier Jostedalsbreen , where also the Breheimsenteret - Museum is located.
In the Jostetal there are the three glacier lakes Turnsbergdalsvatnet , Nigardsbrevatnet and Styggevatnet . A path (RV604) leads through the valley, on which a “glacier bus” also drives.
