Josué Modesto dos Passos Subrinho
Josué Modesto dos Passos Subrinho (born January 22, 1956 in Ribeirópolis , Sergipe ) is a Brazilian economist .
Life
He graduated from the Universidade Federal de Sergipe with a degree in economics (1977). He holds a master's degree (1983) and a doctorate (1992) in economics from Campinas State University (UNICAMP).
He was rector of the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) twice, from 2004 to 2008 and from 2008 to 2012, before he was temporarily rector ( reitor pró-tempore ) of the Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana ( reitor pró-tempore ) from 2013 to June 2017 ( UNILA) in Foz do Iguaçu , Paraná .
