Journal of Laboratory Automation: JALA , abbreviated J. Lab. Autom. , Is a scientific journal published by SAGE-Verlag on behalf of the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS). The journal was founded in 1997 under the name Journal of the Association for Laboratory Automation: JALA , renamed JALA / Association for Laboratory Automation in 1999 and was renamed Journal of Laboratory Automation: JALA in 2011 .
