reception

Avila's literary work began to turn away from modernism . One of his most famous works is "Vigía sin luz", a stylish blend of prose, poetry and play. In it, Avila deals with the story of a blind youth who learns over time to come to terms with his fate. Avila designed his prose poem “El himno sín patria” as an apology for peace and music.
