Juan José Villar was a Uruguayan football player .

Villar played for the Wanderers in 1917 , with whom he finished fourth in Uruguay's top division. At least 1920 he was a member of the squad of the Montevideo- based club Universal , which was competing in the Primera División . That year, his club also finished fourth in the season's final table.

National team

Villar was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . With this he took part in the South American Championships in Uruguay in 1917 and in Chile in 1920 . In the course of both tournaments, in which Uruguay won the title, he was not used.
