The “ Jubilee Cross for Officers and NCOs of the Austro-Hungarian Infantry Regiment No. 62 Ludwig III. King of Bavaria ” was a souvenir from the Bavarian king to the regiment of which he was an honorary colonel.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the owner, the cross was opened in April 1918 for the officers and NCOs of the, originally with the staff, as well as the II. And III. Baon in Klausenburg , the I. Baon in Vlasenica and the IV. Baon in Marosvásárhely stationed regiment of King Ludwig III. donated. The cross corresponds to the King Ludwig Cross of January 7, 1916 and 350 copies were awarded.

It was made of iron and showed the portrait of the king on the front and the Bavarian diamonds with the two-line inscription: 1868/1918 on the back

The issued copies are stained black; however, there are contemporary non-trial silver crosses. The ribbon is quartered in light blue with two white stripes. The design comes from Bernhard Bleeker ; the stamp of Alois Börsch.
